The fun begins on the bus! Our spirited staff gets the party started with games, songs and cheers so that campers arrive at camp, and return in great spirits! Transportation to and from camp is provided by the JCC, through a professional and fully insured transportation company from the following locations:
- St. Paul JCC: 1375 St. Paul Avenue, St. Paul
- Beth Jacob Congregation: 1179 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights
- Trapp Farm Park: 841 Wilderness Run Road, Eagan
- Sabes JCC: 4330 South Cedar Lake Rd Minneapolis
Buses arrive at camp in the morning at 9 AM, and depart camp in the afternoon at 4 PM.
Departure from and arrival to the bus site each day varies based on proximity to Camp Butwin.
Typical AM Departure: 8–8:25 AM
Typical PM Arrival: 4:15–4:45 PM
Registered Families: Select your preferred bus site in the Parent Portal.
Registered families receive detailed information on locations, times and loading and unloading procedures before their camper’s first day.
Before & After Camp Care
Early morning before camp care and late afternoon after camp care are available at the Minnesota JCC Capp Center St. Paul, during the Camp Butwin summer season. Registration for Before and/or After Care is on a weekly basis and may be added at time of application or later in the summer as needed. Please Note: Before and After Care are only offered at the JCC Capp Center St. Paul.
Before Camp Care
Drop off at the JCC for supervised, quiet morning activities, before loading on buses to depart for camp. Must sign up for JCC as AM Bus Site.
After Camp Care
Campers arrive back at the JCC in the afternoon to cool down in our JCC school age care rooms, with games, activities and arts and crafts projects. A fun way to end the day! Must sign up for JCC as PM bus site.
