The JCC Community Garden brings people of all ages and backgrounds together for a year-round experience that goes well beyond planting and watering – it embraces art, food, science, social studies, ecology, all rooted in the Jewish values of Acts of Loving Kindness (G’milut Chasadim), To Work and Keep the Land (L’ovda U’l’shomra), and Repairing the World (Tikkun Olam). JCC Inclusion participants’ passion for the garden is what ties the project together, while inviting and welcoming the collaboration and partnership of others to make the garden come alive.
