Their stories—woven against the backdrop of the region’s history and culminating in the October 7 attacks and aftermath—illuminate both resilience and the struggle for dignity and equality. Reflecting Sela’s own transformative journey as an American-Israeli filmmaker, this powerful work challenges us to confront not only the conflict itself but also the beliefs within our own societies, revealing the possibility of change.
