An Artivism Journey Virtual Workshop: One Breath and Flash Art Workshop with Emilio Mogliner

January 11, 2026 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Presentation by Emilio Mogilner followed by the “One Breath” Workshop —creating a complete artwork in a single breath. We will also learn the technique of “Flash Art,” rapid creation with one hand.

“One Breath” and “Flash Art” are artistic ideas that reflect how quickly our time and resources are disappearing. With today’s advanced technology, people often use power in ways that can harm nature and humanity—pushing us away from the true wisdom that sustains life and replacing it with unnecessary or even false information. In this reality, art becomes a form of activism—a way to remind us of what really matters and to call for responsibility, awareness, and change.

About An Artivism Journey: Art Speaks

This project invites artists and creatives to explore the powerful intersection of art and activism through interactive workshops featuring inspiring presentations and hands-on making. Together, participants will learn, create, and exchange ideas on how art can amplify social movements and respond to pressing issues. In partnership between the Rehovot and MPLS communities, this program is a collaborative journey in harnessing artistic expression for change.

Planned in partnership with Minneapolis Jewish Federation, Minnesota JCC, Rimon: The Minnesota Jewish Arts Council and Parthership2Gether.
