HaLev Early Childhood at the J offers Ulpanon, a full-time preschool classroom for children ages 3–5, where Hebrew language and Israeli culture are woven into a joyful, play-based school day.

Meet our Ulpanon Hebrew Educator - Vered
Vered is passionate about early childhood education and building meaningful connections with children and their families. She taught Pre-K in Israel, guiding young learners with warmth and creativity. As a native Hebrew speaker, she brings the language into the classroom in a natural, joyful way, believing children learn best through play, exploration, music, and everyday interactions.
Meet our Ulpanon Hebrew Educator - Margalit
Born and raised in Jerusalem, Margalit discovered her passion for early childhood education during her Israeli National Service in a daycare setting. After moving to the U.S. in 2015, she studied Early Childhood Education and went on to teach Hebrew and preschool at Talmud Torah, The Aleph School, and Gan Shelanu.
