Sports & Rec Programs

Pickleball

Get ready to play the fastest-growing sports out there! We have clinics and leagues for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.

Adult Basketball

Join our basketball League and play full-court competitive basketball! We offer a men’s league and a women’s league, each with regular-season play, followed by single-elimination playoffs and championships. Players register as a team, with a max of ten people. All games are officiated.

Youth Basketball

We offer clinics for kids in grades 2-5 and leagues for hoopers in grades K-5. Our leagues emphasize skills that help participants become effective basketball players on both ends of the court. All participants use these skills in a structured 5-on-5 league format that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive play in a fun and safe environment.

Taekwondo

Looking for a family-friendly community activity? Sign up for Family Taekwondo! This class format provides a chance to form new skills and memories together. Taekwondo is a great way to stay active, and JCare will be available for younger siblings. Adults, children, or family groups welcome! For ages 7-adult.

J-Ball Teen Basketball League

The Sabes Center Minneapolis is home to J-Ball, a co-ed spring basketball league for Jewish teens in grades 9-12. Players form teams and play 4-on-4 in a refereed game. J-Ball includes one or two games per Sunday during the regular season, followed by a short post-season tournament.

Youth Soccer

Youth soccer at the J is for toddlers and preschoolers, ages 1 to 5 years old. Kids will have fun learning the fundamental skills of soccer through a program of structured activities and fun-based games.

Youth Dance

Give your child the gift of dance! Our youth dance classes include children ages 3-5 and 5-9 and include jazz and ballet. The younger age group will take creative movement/general dance classes.

Adult Ballet

This class focused on basic beginning ballet steps, positions, and technique. Build strength, improve balance, and work your brain and body in new ways that can help prevent injury.

Tumbling Class

Our tumbling classes for toddlers and preschoolers are a great way to get exercise, improve balance and agility, and strengthen social skills.
