Caring for a loved one can be deeply meaningful, but can also be emotionally, physically, and spiritually demanding. This FREE Five-Week Support Group offers family caregivers (of older adults) a compassionate space to connect with others who understand the challenges and rewards of caregiving.
October 15, November 12, December 10, January 14, and February 11.
Facilitated by Rabbi Rebecca Kamil, board certified chaplain and founder of Family Caregiver Support Services, the group provides an opportunity to share experiences, receive encouragement, and explore practical and spiritual tools for navigating the caregiving journey. Through guided conversation, Jewish wisdom, and mutual support, participants can find strength, resilience, and a sense of community. This group offers a place to be heard, supported, and reminded that you do not have to carry the responsibilities of caregiving alone.
RSVP to Rabbi Kamil at moc.liamg@acceberlimak.
*Option to join us for Kosher Lunch at Noon, followed by support group
Co-sponsored by Sholom, Family Caregiver Support Services, and the Minnesota JCC, and is open to caregivers of all backgrounds and levels of Jewish observance. Confidentiality, respect, and compassion are at the heart of every gathering.
