Minnesota JCC Symphony Orchestra Concert

The Minnesota JCC Symphony Orchestra presents: Lives and Landscapes
Lives and Landscapes explores the close relationship between people and the places they inhabit. Liz Lane’s Ruby Fanfare opens the concert with a bright, communal energy, celebrating shared spirit and collective voice. Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture draws listeners to the rugged Scottish coast, where sweeping seascapes reflect both the power of nature and the human response to it. The program concludes with Goldmark’s Rustic Wedding Symphony, a vivid portrait of village life in which folk-inspired melodies and festive rhythms bring everyday celebration, tradition, and community to life. Together, these works remind us that landscapes shape human experience, and that music gives lasting voice to the lives lived within them.
