Spreading Kindness (Chesed) with Aluminum Foil and Masking Tape
May 13 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Art with Cantor Audrey Abrams, Beth El Synagogue.
Creating with a community is relaxing and fun. Join in this easy, not too messy project for all artists and “I can’t do art” artists! We will create a project with a simple technique that may just spur on endless creativity in the future! Supplies needed: aluminum foil, masking tape, tissue paper (colored), small bottle of Mod Podge (it’s a type of glue available at JoAnn Fabrics, Michaels, Target), an inexpensive paint brush.
Cantor Audrey Abrams recently retired from her full time position at Beth El Synagogue. She is passionate about teaching alternative Jewish spiritual practices to help each of us deepen the connection to our Jewish souls. Practices include Sacred Chanting, Mussar/Tikkun Middot, Art for the Heart. Since April 2020, she has adapted her teachings to the Zoom platform.
