AARP Smart Driver Course

This driver safety course is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. By taking this course you’ll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment.
- Learn research-based safety strategies that can reduce the likelihood of having a crash or receiving a traffic violation.
- Learn the newest safety and advanced features in vehicles.
- Learn when driving may no longer be safe.
- Drivers may benefit from a discount on their auto insurance premium upon completing the course.
Initial 8 hr. class: This initial 8 hour course is required before you take the 4 hour refresher course.
