Each of our Camp Butwin Programs is designed with intent, to provide a diverse variety of engaging and age-appropriate camp offerings. Each summer brings something new and different, as campers grow. Our campers look forward to returning summer after summer!

(Entering 1st Grade)

Galim is the perfect first full-time camp experience. Our Galim campers explore a variety of our camp activities such as sports, arts and crafts, boating/fishing, daily swimming, and more, in small group sizes overseen by caring and well-trained camp staff. The Galim experience also includes visits to our low ropes challenge course, weekly swim lessons and a lunch cook out each session.


(Entering 2nd Grade)

Sabra campers get their first taste of Camp Butwin after hours, enjoying a special Late Night each session, an evening of extra fun with their friends and counselors. Sabra campers also go on an off-site field trip once each session. Sabra campers experience more complex challenges at the ropes course and weekly swim lessons.


(Entering 3rd & 4th Grade)

K’far is our campers’ first chance to experience an overnight at Camp Butwin, sleeping in tents under the stars, roasting marshmallows and enjoying a special evening program. K’far includes one Overnight and one Late Night each session. K’far campers have the option to explore more advanced high ropes initiatives.


(Entering 5th & 6th Grade)

Kibbutz campers experience a Camp Butwin Overnight each week, including field trips off site to favorite local destinations. Kibbutz campers experience the full suite of Camp Butwin specialty activities, including dedicated choice time during which campers can further explore preferred activities.


(Entering 7th & 8th Grade)

Our oldest campers enjoy a mix of the best Camp Butwin has to offer; twice weekly field trips including engaging community service projects and recreational destinations, twice per summer off-site tent campouts, and twice per summer three-night trips away from camp for fun, bonding and adventure!

Counselor In Training Program/CIT Program

(Entering 9th & 10th Grade)

Teens, make the most of your summer as a Counselor in Training (CIT) at Camp Butwin! Motivated and enthusiastic teens entering 9th or 10th grade, this program is for YOU! Gain valuable leadership and employment skills and have a lot of fun all summer long.

As a CIT, you will be a role model for younger campers, develop your skills as a counselor, bond with other teens and make new friends. CIT’s are mentored by senior Camp Butwin staff and have field trips, evening activities and overnights throughout the summer. CITs receive a $100/session stipend for their service!
